Last night I showed some pieces at our local art walk.
Beautiful studio - my brother took some pix- I will need to post them.
Another great night. With possible rain and after the holidays we were not sure what kind of turn out there would be, but there was a steady flow of people by 7 till about 9:30pm.
I love talking with new people, making new friends, getting to know and hear others' stories from ALL walks of life.
I sold three pieces which is always exciting.
The greatest moment was the inquisitive and observant young boy - maybe 9 years old- Joel. Had so many observations to the mediums.
"Why did you put all the paper/trash/clippings on the forest?"
We went through together talking about some of the pieces and he would share what he sees in them and what I see in them...such a moment!
